- SwitchBot App Version: 8.4 or newer
1. Make sure your SwitchBot App version is up to date.
2. Make sure SwitchBot camera has been added to your App and your device firmware version is up to date.
3. Make sure that your notification settings are properly configured in the SwitchBot App. Open the app, navigate to Profile > Preferences > App Notifications, and verify that notifications are enabled. Also, check that any Do Not Disturb settings are not preventing notifications during specific periods.
4. Confirm that notifications for your cameras are allowed. In the same App Notifications section, scroll to Notifications Management under Device Notifications, locate your camera, and make sure notifications are enabled for this device.
5. If you want to receive email notifications, please make sure that email notifications are set up.
- Lanuch the SwitchBot App and log in.
- Tap "Profile" in the lower right corner.
- Tap "Preferences".
- Tap "Email Notifications".
- Tap "Important Device Notifications".
- Tap the relevant camera.
- Enable "Email Alerts".
- Add your email address.
6. Please allow notifications for the SwitchBot App on your smartphone.

7. Please log out of the SwitchBot App and log back in.
8. It’s important to determine where the issue occurs. Are notifications missing from the SwitchBot App's notifications (left figure), or are they not showing up as push notifications on your phone (right figure)? Understanding this helps us diagnose the issue better.
9. If the above does not solve the problem, please log in to the SwitchBot App → Profile → Feedback and contact us. Our technical team will investigate.
