  • SwitchBot App Version: 8.4 or newer 

1. Make sure your SwitchBot App is the latest version.

2. Ensure the camera has been added to the SwitchBot App and has the latest firmware version.

3. Ensure "Allow notifications" is on in the SwitchBot App.

4. Make sure your cameras have motion detection turned on.

5. If you want to receive email notifications, please make sure that email notifications are set up.

  • Lanuch the SwitchBot App and log in.
  • Tap "Profile" in the lower right corner.
  • Tap "Preferences".
  • Tap "Email Notifications".
  • Tap "Important Device Notifications".
  • Tap the relevant camera.
  • Enable "Email Alerts".
  • Add your email address.

6. Please allow notifications for the SwitchBot App on your smartphone.

7. Please log out of the SwitchBot App and log back in.

8. If the above does not solve the problem, please log in to the SwitchBot App → Profile → Feedback and contact us. Our technical team will investigate.
