What Should I Do if Lock Ultra Makes Loud Sounds When Locking or Unlocking? – SwitchBot Help Center

Locking and unlocking are driven by the motor, and the sound level is related to the torque required by your door lock. The higher the torque, the louder the sound may be.
Check whether the device is currently in Emergency Mode. In this mode, the noise may be louder than when powered by the main battery, and the sound may also be different.
Restore main battery power as soon as possible to avoid unlocking the device in Emergency Mode.
Go to SwitchBot App > Lock Ultra > Settings, and set Rotation Speed Adjustment to Standard or Quiet to effectively reduce noise.
If you are sensitive to noise during certain periods, you can set a specific time period in Night Mode so that the rotation speed runs in Quiet mode during that period.
If the issue persists, please record a video in which the sound from Lock Ultra can be heard clearly, and send it to customer support via Feedback in the SwitchBot App.
