1. Please kindly note that our Lock, Lock Pro, and Lock Ultra are different versions of the product and are not compatible with each other; therefore, they cannot be combined to create a dual lock configuration.
2. If you are using Lock Pro, we regret to inform you that this device does not currently support forming a double lock. We appreciate your understanding.
3. If you purchased two Locks or Lock Ultra and cannot form a dual lock, please try the following:
- Use the latest version of the SwitchBot app from the app store. You may not be able to set your door locks to dual-lock mode in the beta version.
- Check for any available firmware updates by going to SwitchBot app → Lock → Gear icon → Firmware & Battery. If needed, update the firmware to the latest version located near the device.
-
Delete two locks from your app, then re-add them.
- Long press your lock icon on the app to delete door locks.
- Remove the batteries and then reinsert them.
- Add two locks to the app again.
- If you select Lock B for grouping after tapping Lock A, please try tapping Lock B first and then selecting Lock A (i.e., swap the main lock and sub lock) to verify whether dual locking can be enabled.
