When you change the recording mode of Outdoor Spotlight Cam 2K to Events Only, the camera will switch to Battery Saving Mode. This mode is designed to help reduce power consumption, but it requires a Hub under your account. The Outdoor Spotlight Cam 2K and the Hub also need to be within Bluetooth range of each other, which is usually around 5 to 10 meters.

For this reason, the SwitchBot app may show this message when you try to change the recording mode to Events Only. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
