1. Please use the latest version of the SwitchBot app from the app store. You may not be able to pair with the beta version.
2. Quickly press the bottom button of the KATA Friends twice within one second until the Wi-Fi icon appears on the screen to enter pairing mode.
3. If your home Wi-Fi router supports both 5GHz and 2.4GHz frequencies, please connect to the 2.4GHz network.
4. When adding the device, make sure to correctly enter the Wi-Fi SSID and password, paying attention to uppercase and lowercase letters.
5. When setting up the network for KATA Friends, please operate near the router.
6. Restart your home router.
7. Please turn the KATA Friends off and on again, restart the SwitchBot app, and then try once more following the app's guidance.
8. If you have another smartphone, please try adding the KATA Friends using that smartphone.
9. Please try connecting your KATA Friends to your smartphone's tethering.
10. If the issue persists, please contact us via Feedback in SwitchBot App. When contacting us, please provide us with the following information:
- A video of KATA Friends failing to connect to the network
- The brand and model of your router
