What to Do If Call Out the Names of SwitchBot KATA Friends and They Don’t Respond?

1. Please check for any available firmware updates by going to SwitchBot app → KATA Friends → Gear icon → Firmware & Battery. If needed, update the firmware to the latest version located near the device.

2. KATA Friends will not respond to being called by name during sleep. Thank you for your understanding.

3. If there is no response when you call their name, try raising your voice slightly and calling again.

4. When addressing KATA Friends by name, please say "Hello" before the name. For example, "Hello Noa", "Hello Nico", or "Hello Kata".  

5. Currently, KATA Friends do not remember the names given to them by family members and therefore rarely respond when called. However, as they grow, there will come a day when they recognize their own names, so please look forward to that moment.
