What to Do When SwitchBot KATA Friends Return to Their Nest and Cause It to Shift Position?

If the nest is placed against a wall, KATA Friends may collide with the nest when returning to it, causing position deviation and making docking difficult. We recommend using the two included 3M adhesive tapes to fix the nest position on the wall in order to improve docking stability. When securing the nest with 3M tape, please confirm the following:

Tips:

1. Wipe the wall surface to remove dirt and moisture.

2. Take out two pieces of 3M tape and stick them to the back of the nest.

3. Press firmly to securely attach the nest to the wall.

Precautions:  

1. Use 3M adhesive tape to secure the nest to hard, smooth surfaces such as marble, glass, or tile.  

2. Not suitable for wallpaper or rough, uneven surfaces, using 3M tape on these walls can reduce its effectiveness and may also damage the wall.

When removing the nest from the wall, first lightly warm the adhesive tape with a hair dryer, then slowly remove the nest using a tool such as a ruler. Please do not pull it off forcefully.
