- SwitchBot App Version:9.6 or newer
1. Make sure your SwitchBot App version is up to date.
2. Make sure you connect your humidifier to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
3. Restart your Evaporative Humidifier.
4. Restart your smartphone.
5. Restart your Wi-Fi router.
6. If you have another smartphone available, try adding the device using that phone.
7. If the connection to your home Wi-Fi fails, check if the device can be added using your smartphone’s tethering (hotspot) connection.
8. If the issue persists, please contact us via SwitchBot App -> Profile -> Support ->Feedback. To assist with the investigation, kindly provide a screen recording of the error encountered when attempting to add the device. We will escalate the matter to our R&D team for further analysis.
