1. Make sure your SwitchBot App version is up to date.
2. Make sure that your notification settings are properly configured in the SwitchBot App. Open the app, navigate to Profile > Preferences > App Notifications, and verify that notifications are enabled. Also, check that any Do Not Disturb settings are not preventing notifications during specific periods.
3. Confirm that notifications for your Lock Pro are allowed. In the same App Notifications section, scroll to Notifications Management under Device Notifications, locate Lock Pro, and make sure notifications are enabled for this device.
4. Verify that your phone’s system is permitting push notifications from the SwitchBot App. You can usually find this setting in your phone's notification preferences, and it should allow the app to send notifications to your device.
5. It’s important to determine where the issue occurs. Are notifications missing from the SwitchBot App's notifications (left figure), or are they not showing up as push notifications on your phone (right figure)? Understanding this helps us diagnose the issue better.
6. If you’ve tried all the steps and still aren’t receiving notifications, please contact us via SwitchBot App -> Profile -> Support ->Feedback. We’ll escalate this to our R&D team for further investigation. To help us resolve the issue faster, please provide the following details:
- When the issue occurs and which actions lead to notifications not being received.
- Screenshots of the following:
- Lock Pro's logs screen
- Notifications in the SwitchBot App
