Instructions for Two-Step Verification Feature (V9.0 or newer)

1. Make sure your SwitchBot App version is up to date.

2. Enable Two-Step Verification in the following order:

• Launch SwitchBot App and log in.
• Tap Profile in the lower right corner.
• Tap Manage Accounts.
• Tap Two-Step Verification.
• Enable Two-Step Verification and follow the on-screen steps.

3. You can add an extra layer of security to your account in case your password is stolen. After you set up Two-Step Verification, you can sign in to your account with:

• your password
• confirmation code via email

4. After you have enabled Two-Step Verification, you can add trusted devices so that you don't have to always verify yourself on your other frequently used devices. You can revoke trusted devices at any time. Tap Trust on any of the devices until it is marked as Trusted by Navigating to Profile > Manage Accounts > Two-Step Verification > Trusted Devices.
