1. Make sure your SwitchBot App version is up to date.
2. Make sure SwitchBot ock Pro has been added to your App and your device firmware version is up to date.
3. Make sure Auto-Lock function of your Lock Pro is enabled. We will show you how to enable the auto-lock function.
- Launch the SwitchBot app and log in.
- Tap your Lock Pro.
- Tap the gear icon in the upper right corner.
- Tap “Auto Lock” on the Settings screen.
- Enable Auto Lock.
- Set the timing.
4. Make sure the magnet is installed within 20mm to 40mm of the Lock Pro. If the magnet is closer than 20mm, the magnetic force may be too strong and interfere with proper detection. If the magnet is farther than 40mm, the door sensor may not function correctly. In that situation, you might want to use our Contact Sensor to activate the auto-lock.

Note: If it’s challenging to adjust the magnet within this range, you can also use Re-lock under Auto-Lock. Once enabled, your Lock Pro will lock your door after the specified time, regardless of whether your door is open or closed.
5. Make sure the magnet orientation is correct. The detectable parts of the magnet are the sides.
You may need to adjust the magnet orientation according to the figure below, based on your door frame.
6. Follow these steps to recalibrate your Lock Pro.
- Close your door. Rotate the thumbturn on your Lock Pro to the position where your device locks your door. Then tap "Next".
- Keep your door closed. Rotate the thumbturn on your Lock Pro to the position where your device unlocks your door Then tap "Next".
- Open your door. Manually lock your device. Then hold the door against the door frame with approx. 10 cm distance between them. Tap "Next".
- Keep your door ajar and make sure your Lock Pro is in locked state. Tap "Test Unlocking".
- Close your door. Make sure it is unlocked currently. Tap "Test Locking".
- "Finish"
7. Remove the Lock Pro from the SwitchBot App and add it again to reset the device settings.

- A photo showing the magnet installation.
- A video of the recalibration process (recording the locking and unlocking positions).
- A video of the Lock Pro during locking and unlocking, showing the indicator light behavior.
