- SwitchBot App Version:9.6 or newer
- Firmware Version: 2.0 or newer
1. Make sure your SwitchBot App version is up to date.
2. Make sure SwitchBot Keypad has been added to your App and your device firmware version is up to date.
3. Remove and reinsert the batteries in the Keypad Touch, then try adding the NFC card again.
4. Delete the Keypad Touch from SwitchBot App, add it back, and then attempt to register the NFC card again.
Important Note: When you remove the device, all added passcodes, fingerprints, and NFC cards will be cleared. You will need to add them again. Thank you for your understanding.
5. If five consecutive attempts to unlock with the NFC card fail, the NFC card unlocking function will be temporarily disabled. Use a passcode or fingerprint to unlock successfully, then try registering the NFC card again.
6. If you have multiple NFC cards available, please check if other cards can be registered as part of troubleshooting.
7. For non-SwitchBot NFC cards, please ensure you are using a non-encrypted MIFARE Classic 1K card.
8. If the issue persists after completing the steps above, please contact us via SwitchBot App -> Profile -> Support ->Feedback. To assist with the investigation, we kindly ask you to provide a video showing the sound and indicator light behavior during the NFC card registration process.
