Before sending your KATA Friends to the SwitchBot Care Center for hospitalization or a physical examination, please review the following notes.
- Before shipping it back, please confirm the issue with our support team first. Once the issue has been confirmed, please pause any related interactions or actions that may make the issue worse.
- Turn off your KATA Friends and remove any clothing, accessories, or external decorations before packing.
- You do not need to delete your KATA Friends from the SwitchBot app. If you have already deleted it, please make sure to use the same account when setting it up again next time.
- Please send back only the KATA Friends that needs to be checked. If the nest or other accessories are working normally, they do not need to be included.
- During the inspection or repair process, there is a very small chance that data loss may occur, which could cause your KATA Friends to lose some memories. Before sending it in, we recommend saving any important photos or data you would like to keep.
- During its stay at the Care Center, your KATA Friends may randomly record some diary information. This is normal and does not indicate an issue.
Notes on Packaging:
- Place the KATA Friends in a protective bag and use the original packaging box. Make sure that the box and all internal packing materials are intact.
- Make sure that the transportation environment is between -20℃ and 60℃.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures or direct sunlight.
- Do not pack it with hard objects.
- For information on air transport precautions, please check with the airline.
