The Mode button on KATA Friend's head allows you to switch between its different modes.
- Normal mode: KATA Friend moves around freely, explores, and uses its camera to capture warm moments.
- Standby mode: KATA Friend stands peacefully in place, resting while waiting for your call. It won't be able to welcome you home or wake you up, but it can still take photos right where it is.
- Sleep mode: KATA Friend relaxes its whole body — perfect for putting on cozy pajamas or changing outfits.
- Put the eye mask on KATA Friends, and it will enter Privacy Mode. In this mode, KATA Friends cannot see anything and cannot take photos.
- If KATA Friends cannot find its way back, it will try several times and then enter Sleep Mode. Please carry it back to its nest and charge it so it can recover.
