It takes about 1 hour to charge KATA Friends from a low power state to a playable condition (50% battery remaining), and approximately 3 to 4 hours to reach a full charge. Within the first three seconds of returning to the nest and starting to charge, KATA Friends' eyes will display a charging icon to indicate that charging has begun, then the charging icon disappears.
