  • SwitchBot app version: V6.14 or later
  • Firmware version: 1.0 or newer

This error is typically caused by an outdated firmware version in most cases. Also note that frequent use will drain the battery faster. 

1. Make sure your SwitchBot app is the latest version.

2. Please make sure the SwitchBot Contact Sensor has been added to the SwitchBot app and the firmware version the latest (V1.0) to get bugs fixed.

3. If triggered more than 200 times a day, the battery will last about 3 months.

4. If you receive a low power notification within 3 months of use and trigger less than 50 times a day, please submit a feedback.
