Q1: How should I set up storage location on NAS for my AI Hub?

Please follow the instructions below:

Create a new folder or select an existing one on your NAS, then note down the path to the folder.
Open the SwitchBot app, go to AI Hub > Settings > Local Storage > NAS (RTSP) > NAS, tap Path, then enter the path you just noted down.
A folder named "switchbot" will be automatically generated under the path as the storage folder for your AI Hub.

Please note:

Some NAS systems restrict folder creation in the root directory. Therefore, it is recommended to create the folder within a shared folder on your NAS, or simply select the shared folder itself.
Once configured, do not move, rename, or delete the designated folder and the storage folder. Otherwise, your AI Hub will be unable to transfer videos to the NAS.
If the storage path does change, you'll need to manually modify it in the SwitchBot app (AI Hub > Settings > Local Storage > NAS (RTSP) > NAS).

Q2: What are the key points for setting up the NAS IP address and account?

Correct network and account settings are essential for a stable connection. Please note the following:

IP Address
Enter the local IPv4 address of your NAS (e.g., 192.168.1.3). Make sure your AI Hub and NAS are on the same local network. If your NAS's IP address changes, you must unpair and reconfigure the NAS in your AI Hub settings; otherwise, storage will fail.
Account & Password
Use a NAS account with read/write permissions. If the password is changed, you must unpair and reconfigure the NAS in your AI Hub settings; otherwise, storage will fail.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter connection issues:
1. Verify that file sharing services (like SMB) are enabled on your NAS.
2.Confirm the NAS account has the correct read/write permissions.
3.Double-check that the password is entered correctly.
4.Ensure both devices are online and on the same network.
