Safety Information for Using SwitchBot Devices

Please follow these guidelines when using SwitchBot devices.

When you connect devices to SwitchBot or third parties, such as Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri, anyone speaking to Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri can operate those products. Some devices can also be controlled by anyone using the SwitchBot app on your mobile device. This includes products such as SwitchBot (the pusher), the Meter, the Hubs, the Humidifiers, Curtains and Plugs. Please follow these recommendations when using connected devices with SwitchBot app or third party devices:

• Follow all instructions and recommended uses for SwitchBot devices.
• After making a request, confirm that the action was completed on the SwitchBot device.
• Take steps to ensure that the security of your third party supported device and safe operation of your connected products. For example, if you don't want Alexa to respond to voice commands (like when you are away from home), turn off microphones on your Alexa supported devices.
• Take steps to ensure the security of the Alexa app on your mobile device. For example, enable your device's lock screen security, such as a PIN code or thumbprint to gain access.
