Maintaining Your SwitchBot (the Meter)

Use your SwitchBot (the Meter) ("Device") only in indoor, dry environments. Do not use your Device near sinks or other wet locations. Take care not to spill any food or liquid on your Device and do not put any object filled with a liquid, such as a vase, on or near your Device. If your Device does get wet, carefully unplug the Device without getting your hands wet and wait for the Device to dry completely before plugging it in again. Do not attempt to dry your Device with an external heat source, such as a microwave oven or hairdryer.

Only handle your SwitchBot (the Meter) with clean hands. Remove your Device from an outlet before cleaning. Clean the Device with a soft cloth. Clean the device with a soft cloth that is slightly damp with water and a touch of rubbing alcohol; be careful not to wipe it with anything abrasive or to use any harsh chemicals.

Do not expose your Device to steam, extreme heat or cold. For example, do not plug in your Device near any heat sources such as space heaters, heater vents, radiators, stoves, or other things that produce heat. If you wish to turn off your Device, open the back cover and take out the battery. To turn your Device back on, open the back cover and insert the battery.again. If your SwitchBot (the Meter) appears damaged, discontinue use immediately.

Your SwitchBot (the Meter) may get warm during normal use. To reduce the risk of overheating or heat-related injuries, keep the SwitchBot (the Meter) well ventilated and use care when handling it.

Faulty service may void the warranty.

Other Safety Considerations

Your SwitchBot (the Meter) is not intended for use with medical or life support equipment. This means you should not rely on the Meter to monitor any medical equipment or life-support systems, and it should not be used in any automation scenarios where the Meter controls the operation (on and off) of such devices.

If your SwitchBot (the Meter) is used in a way not specified by the manufacturer, any protection provided by the equipment may be impaired.

Do not use your SwitchBot (the Meter) to operate equipment where inaccurate timing or accidental on/off commands could be dangerous (e.g. saunas, sunlamps, etc.).

Do not use your SwitchBot (the Meter) to operate equipment where continuous or unsupervised operation could be dangerous (e.g. stoves, heaters, etc.).

Only for use in dry rooms.

Small parts contained in your Device may present a choking hazard to small children.

SwitchBot (the Meter) generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency (RF) energy and, if not used in accordance with its instructions, may cause interference to radio communications and electronic equipment. External RF signals may affect improperly installed or inadequately shielded electronic operating systems, entertainment systems, and personal medical devices. While most modern electronic equipment is shielded from external RF signals, if in doubt, check with the manufacturer. For personal medical devices (such as pacemakers and hearing aids), consult with your physician or the manufacturer to determine if they are adequately shielded from external RF signals.

FCC Compliance Statement

The SwitchBot (the Meter) (the "Product") complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation of each Product is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this Product may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this Product must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

Note: This Product has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device or external switching power supply, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. The equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

-Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.

-Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.

-Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.

-Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

Changes or modifications to a Product by the user that are not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could make the Product no longer comply with the FCC Rules.

The SwitchBot (the Meter) meets the FCC Radio Frequency Emission Guidelines and is certified with the FCC. Information on this Product is on file with the FCC and can be found by inputting such Product's FCC ID into the FCC ID Search form available at transition.fcc.gov/oet/ea/fccid.

Information Regarding Exposure to Radio Frequency Energy

The output power of the radio technology used in the Product is below the radio frequency exposure limits set by the FCC. This device should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 20cm between the radiator and your body. It is advised to use the Product in such a manner that minimizes the potential for human contact during normal operation.

1-Year Limited Warranty

This Warranty for the SwitchBot (the Meter) (the "Device") is provided by Wonderlabs, Inc., 2035 Sunset Lake Road, Suite B2, Newark, DE 19702, United States. The provider of this warranty is sometimes referred to herein as "we".

We warrant the Device against defects in materials and workmanship under ordinary consumer use for one year from the date of original retail purchase. During this warranty period, if a defect arises in the Device, and you follow the instructions for returning the Device, we will at our option, to the extent permitted by law, either (i) repair the Device using either new or refurbished parts, (ii) replace the Device with a new or refurbished Device that is equivalent to the Device to be replaced, or (iii) refund to you all or part of the purchase price of the Device. This limited warranty applies, to the extent permitted by law, to any repair, replacement part or replacement device for the remainder of the original warranty period or for ninety days, whichever period is longer. All replaced parts and Devices for which a refund is given shall become our property. This limited warranty applies only to hardware components of the Device that are not subject to accident, misuse, neglect, fire or damage from other external causes, alteration, repair, or commercial use.

In general, you will need to deliver your Device in either its original packaging or in equally protective packaging to the address specified by Customer Service.

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE WARRANTY AND REMEDIES SET FORTH ABOVE ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES, AND WE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ALL STATUTORY OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND AGAINST HIDDEN OR LATENT DEFECTS. IF WE CANNOT LAWFULLY DISCLAIM STATUTORY OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, THEN TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALL SUCH WARRANTIES SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY AND TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT SERVICE.
