- SwitchBot App Version:9.16 or newer
1. Please check the communication between the doorbell and the monitor as follows:
- Detach the doorbell and place it near the monitor.
- Press the doorbell.
- Press the call button on the monitor.
- Confirm whether the video from the doorbell is displayed on the monitor.
2. If the real-time video from the doorbell is displayed on the monitor following step 1, please check the installation of the monitor.
- Villas and Houses: 10 meters away from the entrance (steel) door without any obstruction. For example, installed in a bedroom doorway or living room.
- Apartments: within 5 meters of the entrance (steel) door with no obstruction. For example, near the entrance to the living room.

3. Please avoid connecting to the doorbell simultaneously with the SwitchBot app and the monitor.
4. Press and hold the doorbell button for 5 to 8 seconds to reset it.
5. If the issue persists, please please contact us via Feedback in SwitchBot App. When contacting us, please provide with the following information:
- Distance between the doorbell and the monitor, as well as the number of obstacles such as walls or doors.
- Distance between the monitor and the router, as well as the number of obstacles such as walls or doors.
- Distance between the doorbell and the router, as well as the number of obstacles such as walls or doors.
- A video showing the monitor unable to display real-time footage from the doorbell, even when placed near it.
