Initial Device Name of SwitchBot

When registering a device, the default device name is followed by a two-digit number or romaji (eg:Hubmini A1). Why is it different from the number on the product package or product image? Old model? fake?

The number is not the model number of the device, but the last two digits of the device's BLE MAC. BLE MAC has a different number for each device (the last two digits may be the same number).
