SwitchBot devices are sold worldwide, and as such, changes made to firmware are done with country or region considerations in mind. Therefore, we do not make it compulsory for new firmware versions to be sent to all users globally at the same time. This is because:

  • Some customers do not want some of the new features included
  • Older models may not work properly with new firmware
  • Automatic updates may not work on older models
If you would like to request a new firmware version, please log in to our App, go to Profile -> Feedback and leave us a message asking to update your firmware.
