  • SwitchBot app version: 6.20 or newer

This error can be typically solved by resetting device. follow the steps below to proceed:

1. Please make sure you have the latest version of the SwitchBot App.

2. Reboot the Bluetooth function of your phone.

3. Remove and insert the battery in the remote button.

  • The device may be out of battery and can't be detected if haven't been used for long. Please kindly replace with a new battery if needed. 

4. Press and hold the two buttons on the remote button for 15 seconds to reset.

5. Retry adding Remote to your account via another mobile devices if you have one.
