Make sure the device and your third-party home hub, such as Apple HomePod or Apple TV, are connected to the same 2.4 GHz network and have a stable network connection.

If the device is unresponsive in Apple Home, try creating a new Apple Home environment and check whether the issue improves:
- Create a new Home in the Apple Home app.
- Add any Apple home hub to the new Home.
- Reset the device and add it to the new Home, then check whether it works properly.
