Add to Google Home
Step 1: Verify Matter setup requirements.
A Matter-supported hub/controller is required (e.g., Google Nest devices). Ensure you’re logged into your Google account on one of the following compatible devices.
Note: Update the device’s firmware to the latest version to ensure full Matter support.

Step 2: Put the SwitchBot device into Matter setup mode.
Hub 2
- Before adding to Google Home, reset Hub 2 by pressing and holding the "On" and "Off" buttons on the device panel for 15 seconds.
- All panel lights will turn off. When the lights come back on and the indicator light flashes slowly, Hub 2 will enter Matter setup mode.
Relay Switch 1/Relay Switch 1PM
- Before adding to Google Home, tap Connect Device in the app to put the device into Matter setup mode.
- Access the next step when your SwitchBot device enters Matter setup mode.
- The method to enter Matter setup mode is device-specific. Please follow the in-app instructions.
Step 3: Add the SwitchBot device to Google Home.
- Copy the Matter pairing code from the relevant page in the SwitchBot app.

Open the Google Home app, tap Devices in the navigation bar at the bottom, then tap "+" in the bottom right-hand corner. Select Matter-enabled device. Once the device is detected, tap Next to navigate to the QR code scanning page.
- Tap Set up without QR code, paste the copied Matter pairing code in the field, then tap Next. After a short wait, your SwitchBot device will be added to the Google Home app.
(Optional) Step 4: Add accessories.
Once the Matter bridge product is successfully added to Google Home, you can add other SwitchBot devices that support the Matter protocol as accessories.
Add to Apple Home
Step 1: Verify Matter setup requirements.
A Matter-supported hub/controller is required (e.g., Apple HomePod, Apple TV). Ensure you’re logged into your Apple ID on one of these compatible devices.

Step 2: Put the SwitchBot device into Matter setup mode
Hub 2

Step 3: Add the SwitchBot device to Apple Home.
- Copy the Matter pairing code from the relevant page in the SwitchBot app.
- Open the Home app, tap "+" in the top right-hand corner. Choose "Add Accessory", then tap More options > My Accessory Isn't Shown Here > Enter code. Paste the copied code and tap Continue to start the setup process.
(Optional) Step 4: Add accessories.
Once the Matter bridge product is successfully added to Apple Home, you can add other SwitchBot devices that support the Matter protocol as accessories.
Add to Samsung SmartThings
Prerequisites
- SmartThings is installed and logged in, with a Samsung Hub/gateway (supporting Matter/Thread) online.
- The SwitchBot device has been successfully added and is online in the SwitchBot app.
Step 1: Put the SwitchBot device into Matter setup mode.
- Ensure your Samsung Hub has been added to SmartThings and is online.
- Power on the Matter Wi‑Fi/Thread device.

Open the SwitchBot app, go to the device's settings page, and select Matter Setup. Follow the in-app instructions to reset the device and obtain the Matter pairing code.
Step 2: Add the SwitchBot device to SmartThings.

Open the SmartThings app, tap "+" in the top right-hand corner, then select Add device. Select Partner devices, then choose Matter.
- Scan the device's QR code or manually enter the pairing code, then select the Wi‑Fi network you want to connect to. Enter the Wi‑Fi password and wait for the setup to complete.
