How to Setup Matter with SwitchBot Lock Vision and Lock Vision Pro (Android)

Preparation

Before setting up devices using Matter, you will need the following:

• SwitchBot Lock Vision or Lock Vision Pro
• Android Phone
• Google Nest Hub 47.9.4 or newer

Setup

1. Make sure your SwitchBot App version is up to date.

2. Make sure SwitchBot Lock Vision has been added to your App and your device firmware version is up to date.

3. Make sure all devices (your iPhone, Google Nest Hub, and Lock Vision) are connected to the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.

4. Copy the setup code by going to Switch Bot App -> Your Lock Vision -> Gear Icon (Settings screen) ->Matter Setup.

5. On the "How to Set Up Matter" screen, follow the on-screen instructions to copy the matter setup code.

6. Open Google Home App -> Tap "Device" at the bottom of the menu bar -> Tap "Add" -> Tap "Matter-enabled device" -> Paste the code to continue the whole process.
