- SwitchBot App Version:9.5 or newer
1. Make sure your SwitchBot App version is up to date.
2. Make sure SwitchBot Water Leak Detector has been added to your App.
3. Please allow notifications for the SwitchBot App on your smartphone.

For iOS users, you may need to consider turning on critical alerts on your iPhone or iPad.
4. Turn on SwitchBot App notifications in the following order:
- Launch SwitchBot App and log in.
- Tap "..." in the upper right of the Home screen.
- Tap"Notifications".
- Tap the gear icon in the upper right corner.
- Turn on "App Notifications".
5. Set up your Water Leak Detector notifications in SwitchBot app.
- LaunchSwitchBot app and log in.
- Tap "Profile" in the lower right corner.
- Tap "Preferences".
- Tap "App Notifications".
- Turn on "App Notifications".
- Turn on "Device Notifications" under the Device Notifications section and tap Notification Management.
- Switch to the Home where your Water Leak Detector is located in the upper left corner.
- Turn on "Allow Notifications" and tap the Water Leak Detector in the device list.
- Turn on notifications you want to receive.
6. If you want to receive an Email notification, you can enable the Email Notifications by going to SwitchBot App -> Profile -> Preferences -> Email Notifications -> Important Device Notifications -> Water Leak Sensor.

Note:
You can follow the same steps to disbale all the notification settings.
