How to Set up Automations When Sunrise/Sunset

• SwitchBot App Version: 7.8 or newer

1. Make sure your SwitchBot App version is up to date.

2. Please follow the instructions below to set up the automation when sunrise/sunset.

• Open SwitchBot App.
• Tap "Automation" at the bottom of the App.
• Tap "+" in the upper right corner of the "Automation" page.
• Name the automation.
• Choose "Add condition" on "When".
• Select "Schedule".
• Select "Sunrise" or "Sunset".
• Tap "At Sunrise" or "At Sunset" if you want to set up a specific period before or after them, for example, we can set up 30 minutes after sunrise.
• Also, we can set up the specific location via the "Location" option.
• Tap "Save" and go back to the automation settings page.
• Choose "Add Action" on "Then".
• Set up the action you want and go back to the automation setting page again.
• Tap "Save" and finish setting up the automation when sunrise/sunset.

Notes:

* Please allow the SwitchBot App to access the location info on your phone settings.

* Usually, the automation when sunrise/sunset will trigger according to the location setting, but there might be differences in different time zones even using the same location. For example, sunrise could be at a different time on CST/EST if the location is simply set up to be United States.
