1. Please make sure you have the latest version of the SwitchBot App.

2. Add two locks to the SwitchBot App.

3. We will show you how to set up Dual Lock.

  • Launch the SwitchBot App and log in.
  • Tap Lock A.
  • Tap the gear icon in the top right. 
  • Tap "Dual Lock Settings" on the "Settings" screen.
  • Tap "Start Setup".
  • Select another Lock B. (If it has not been added yet, tap "Add Device" to add a secondary lock)
  • Dual Lock mode will be activated automatically, and a screen will appear saying, “Dual Lock mode has been activated.”
  • Tap Next.
  • Unlocking and locking tests are performed automatically.
  • Tap Done.

Please note:

  • When activating Dual Lock mode from lock A, lock A is the main lock, and lock B is the sub-lock (and vice versa).
  • If you have not calibrated the lock, you will be asked to calibrate the lock/unlock when you activate Dual Lock mode. If the device has already been calibrated, the lock/unlock test will be performed automatically.
  • SwitchBot Lock, calibrated as a European lock to to hold the latch, does not support the dual-locking function.

4. Dual Lock mode can be canceled in the following order: SwitchBot App → Lock → gear icon→ Dual Lock mode → cancel Dual Lock mode.
