- SwitchBot App Version:9.12 or newer
1. Make sure your SwitchBot App version is up to date.
2. Make sure two SwitchBot Lock Ultras have been added to your App.
3. We will show you how to set up Dual Lock.
- Launch the SwitchBot App and log in.
- Tap "Lock Ultra A".
- Tap "Set up now" on the "Dual Lock" option.
- Tap "Start Setup".
- Select another "Lock Ultra B". (If it has not been added yet, tap "Add New Device" to add a secondary Lock Ultra.)
- Dual Lock mode will be activated automatically, and a screen will appear saying, “Dual Lock mode has been activated.”
- Tap Next.
- Unlocking and locking tests are performed automatically.
- Tap Done.
Note:
- When activating Dual Lock mode from "Lock Ultra A", Lock Ultra A is the main lock, and Lock Ultra B is the sub-lock (and vice versa).
- If you have not calibrated the Lock Ultras, you will be asked to calibrate them when you activate Dual Lock mode. If the devices have already been calibrated, the locking/unlocking test will be performed automatically.
- Only the US and JP versions of Lock Ultra can be paired to create a dual lock. The EU version does not support this feature, but you can switch it to the US version in the settings page to enable dual lock functionality.
- The EU version of Lock Ultra with night latch feature does not support dual lock.
4. Dual Lock mode can be canceled in the following order: SwitchBot App → Lock Ultra→ gear icon→ Dual Lock mode → cancel Dual Lock mode.
