- SwitchBot App Version: 9.3 or newer
1. Make sure your SwitchBot App version is up to date.
2. Make sure SwitchBot Lock / SwitchBot Lock Pro and SwitchBot Hub products have been added to your App and your device firmware version is up to date.
3. Enable the cloud service for your Lock / Lock Pro.
- Launch the SwitchBot App and log in.
- Tap the relevant SwitchBot Lock / Lock Pro.
- Tap the gear icon in the top right corner.
- Tap "Cloud Services" in the Settings screen.
- Turn on "Cloud Services" and connect it to SwitchBot Hub products in your account.
Starting with SwitchBot App version 9.0, there is no longer a need to manually enable the Cloud Service (the Cloud Service option has been removed). Simply place the Lock/Lock Pro near the Hub, within Bluetooth range, and it will automatically connect to the Hub.
4. Set up a widget in the SwitchBot App.
- Launch the SwitchBot App and log in.
- Tap "Profile" in the lower right corner.
- Tap "Widget Settings".
- Tap the blue + icon to add your Lock and save.
5. Add Lock to the widget in the following order on your iPhone.
- Touch and hold an empty area on the Home Screen until the apps jiggle.
- Tap "Edit" in the upper left corner.
- Tap "Add Widget".
- Input SwitchBot and Search.
- Follow the on-screen steps to add your Lock/Lock Pro to the Widget.
