How Does MindClip Protect User Privacy and Data Security?

MindClip protects your privacy across three layers: the device, the SwitchBot App, and the cloud.

Data Storage

• Audio recordings: Stored locally on the device, locally in the SwitchBot App, and in your personal cloud storage.
• Transcription text, summaries, and AskAI data: Stored locally in the SwitchBot App and in your personal cloud storage.

Device-Side Privacy Protection

• After audio recordings are uploaded from the device to the SwitchBot App and the cloud, the local recording files on the device are automatically deleted.
• If the device is lost, others cannot add or use it, and there is no data export interface. The Type-C port is used for charging only.
• When unbinding the device, all untransferred audio recordings can be completely deleted to prevent data leakage.

App-Side Privacy Protection

• All data in the SwitchBot App is stored only locally on your phone.

Cloud-Side Privacy Protection

• Cloud data is stored in your personal cloud storage account, and only you have permission to access it.
• Personal cloud data is deployed on Amazon Web Services, with strictly controlled access.
• When you delete your account, your personal cloud data can be completely deleted.
• MindClip has passed strict privacy and data security certifications, including EN18031, ISO27001, and ISO27701.
