Preparation
Before setting up devices using Matter, you will need the following:
- SwitchBot Lock Pro Matter Enabled
- Android Phone
- Google Nest Hub 47.9.4 or newer
Setup
1. Make sure your SwitchBot App version is up to date.
2. Make sure SwitchBot Lock Pro Matter Enabled has been added to your App and your device firmware version is up to date.
3. Make sure all devices (your iPhone, Google Nest Hub, and Lock Pro Matter Enabled) are connected to the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
4. Copy the setup code by going to Switch Bot App -> Your Lock Pro Matter Enabled -> Gear Icon (Settings screen) ->Matter Setup.
5. On the "How to Set Up Matter" screen, follow the on-screen instructions to copy the matter setup code.
6. Open Google Home App -> Tap "Device" at the bottom of the menu bar -> Tap "Add" -> Tap "Matter-enabled device" -> Paste the code to continue the whole process.
