- SwitchBot App Version:9.7 or newer
1. Make sure your SwitchBot App version is up to date.
2. Make sure SwitchBot Lock Pro and Hub have been added to your App.
3. The Lock Pro is a Bluetooth communication device that must be connected to our Hub products to receive push notifications from the SwitchBot App. Starting from SwitchBot App V9.0, place the Lock Pro near the Hub, within Bluetooth range, and it will automatically connect to the Hub.
4. Turn on SwitchBot App's notifications in the following order:
- Launch SwitchBot App and log in.
- Tap "Profile" at the bottom right.
- Tap "Preferences".
- Tap "App Notifications".
- Turn "App Notifications".
5. Turn on notifications for Lock Pro in the following order:
- Launch the SwitchBot app and log in.
- Tap "Profile" at the bottom right.
- Tap on "Preferences".
- Tap on "App Notifications".
- Turn on "Device Notifications".
- Tap on "Notification Management" below device notifications.
- Switch to the Home where Lock Pro is located at the top left.
- Tap on the corresponding Lock Pro.
- Enable "Allow Notifications".
- Enable as needed: Door Unlocked/Locked/Door Opened/Door Left Open/Door Left Unlocked.
6. With the above settings, notifications will be sent to your smartphone when Lock Pro is locked, unlocked, or left unlocked.
