1. Make sure your SwitchBot App version is up to date.

2. Make sure SwitchBot Lock Pro / SwitchBot Lock has been added to your App.

3. To use remote unlock notifications functions, you need to connect your Lock Pro Lock to SwitchBot Hub products (cloud service must be enabled). The Lock/Lock Pro is a BLE communication device, so the remote unlock notification option in the SwitchBot App appears grayed out and cannot be enabled when used alone.

4. Enable the remote unlock notifications function in the following order.

  • Launch SwitchBot App and login.
  • Tap your Lock Pro.
  • Tap the gear icon in the upper right corner.
  • Tap "basic settings" on the setting screen.
  • enable "remote unlock notifications"

5. Once the remote unlock notifications feature is enabled, when unlocking the device remotely, tap the unlock button on the SwitchBot app home screen and a pop-up will appear asking you to confirm that you want to unlock the device.
