SwitchBot Lock’s “Pause Auto-Lock” Feature

• SwitchBot App Version: 7.9 or newer

1.   Make sure your SwitchBot App version is up to date.

2.   First, go to the SwitchBot App and enable the "Pause Auto-Lock" feature by following these steps.

• Launch the SwitchBot App.
• Tap the relevant SwitchBot Lock.
• Tap the gear in the upper right corner.
• Tap "Auto Lock".
  
• Enable the "Auto Lock".
• Enable "Pause Auto-Lock".

3. Turn the thumb-turn on the SwitchBot Lock to the unlocked position, then to locked, and back again to unlocked. The SwitchBot Lock's indicator will emit a single blue flash, accompanied by a beep. This sequence activates the Pause Auto-Lock feature, preventing the SwitchBot Lock from Auto-Lock.

4. First lock the SwitchBot Lock again (manually or via the App) and then unlock the SwitchBot Lock again to restore the Auto-Lock feature.

5. Disable "Pause Auto-Lock" in the SwitchBot App according to step 2. Repeat steps 2 through 5 the next time you wish to use the "Pause Auto-Lock" function.

6. If necessary, use the "Pause Auto-Lock" feature during daily trash disposal.
