At this time, our camera products cannot support RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol).
Does SwitchBot camera devices support RTSP?

This feature would improve the device substantially.
Just bought the outdoor cam and already regret this due to lack of RTSP..

I agree completely. I even left a review about it with one star and they deleted it.
Reality is, this is a business decision, they want to get the reoccurring income from the cloud services. Just getting files off the SD card is a pain, and it's not technological, it's business. I kinda agree, not sure I would buy more cameras for much more than watching my bird feeders.. Being dependent on 3rd part cloud services is a problem. I need a camera that has an integral web server or at least a file server, to get content off. I don't want video feeds going out to the web. It's harder and harder to find those cameras. Switchbot could offer something like that, but like everyone else, i doubt they will.
It's getting extremely hard to protect your privacy. Someone needs to step in and fill that void.
