1. Before removing the Keypad/Keypad Touch, please launch the SwitchBot application and deactivate the Keypad/Keypad Touch removal alert.

2. Detach the device by lifting it upward and utilizing the provided removal pin. Insert the pin into the hole located at the bottom of the Keypad/Keypad Touch.

3. If it does not come off even after inserting the removal pin, try using a screwdriver with a tip width of 2 mm or less and a shaft length of 8 mm or longer.

Tips:

Press down on the Keypad with your finger, apply slight pressure to the device, and insert the screwdriver into the hole at the bottom.

4. If the alert buzzer is triggered due to improper handling, you can utilize the SwitchBot app to cancel the alert, or enter the correct passcode, use the appropriate fingerprint, or present a valid NFC card to deactivate the alert.

5. The mounting plate is secured to the door with double-sided tape. To detach the keypad body from the mounting plate, warm the adhesive side using a hair dryer until it loosens. Then, use an unused card or a similar object to remove the mounting plate from the door. Finally, clean any sticky residue from both the door and the mounting kit using alcohol wipes. If the mounting plate is damaged during the Keypad removal process, please submit feedback through the SwitchBot app to request replacement parts.

Note:

To avoid injury, please carefully warm it with the hot air from the hairdryer.

Grab the mounting plate and remove it with small side-to-side movements.
