How to Use SwitchBot Presence Sensor's Local Linkage Feature to Trigger Other SwitchBot Devices without Using a Hub

• SwitchBot App Version：9.17 or newer

1. Make sure your SwitchBot App version is up to date.

2. Make sure SwitchBot Presence Sensor has been added to your App and your device firmware version is up to date.

3. We will walk you through the setup process.

• Launch SwitchBot App and log in.  
• Tap the Presence Sensor.  
• Tap "Automation" located at the bottom of the control screen.  
• Tap "Local Linkage".
• Tap "Add Automation"  
• Tap "Add Condition" and set one of the following as a condition: space occupied, space unoccupied, or ambient brightness level. 
• Tap "Add Action" and add the device to be triggered.  

Note:

Up to 2 local linkages can be created.

Each local linkage can be configured for only one device, multiple device triggers are not supported.

Please make sure that both devices are placed within Bluetooth range when using the local linkage feature of the Presence Sensor.
