How to Use SwitchBot AI Hub via Home Assistant? – SwitchBot Help Center

To add your AI Hub to Home Assistant, you'll need to:

Upgrade & Access Home Assistant

Go to Settings > Home Assistant Setup and check the Home Assistant version. Tap Upgrade if an update is available.

Copy the IP address shown on the page, then enter it into your browser's address bar to access your AI Hub's Home Assitstant webpage.

Integration Methods

Bluetooth integration: Requires the SwitchBot BLE Proxy and SwitchBot Bluetooth plugins (available in Home Assistant).
Cloud integration: Requires your SwitchBot account's API token and secret key (available in SwitchBot app: Preferences > About).

Tips: On the About page in SwitchBot app, repeatedly tap App Version to unlock Developer Options, where you can view your token and secret key.

Troubleshooting

If the SwitchBot BLE Proxy stops working after upgrading Home Assistant on your AI Hub:

Extract the file and place its contents into the following directory on your AI Hub's MicroSD card: homeassistant/custom_components/switchbot_ble_proxy/

Important: Delete the existing switchbot_ble_proxy folder first, and keep the file path structure exactly as before.
