SwitchBot Water Leak Detector is designed to function optimally within the following environmental conditions:

• Operating Temperature: 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F).
• Operating Humidity: 10% to 90% (non-condensing).

For storage, the recommended ranges are:

• Storage Temperature: -20°C to 50°C (-4°F to 122°F).
• Storage Humidity: 5% to 90% (non-condensing).

Important Note:

Using the device outside the specified operating ranges may impact its performance, including its ability to send alerts or, in some cases, affect the device itself.

We recommend using batteries in all SwitchBot products within a temperature range of 5°C to 45°C. Extreme cold or hot environments are not suitable for battery use. In low temperatures, battery efficiency decreases, which can result in insufficient power. High temperatures can cause the battery to react more intensely, leading to rapid discharge or even risks such as leakage or swelling.
