Preparation

Before setting up devices using Matter, you will need the following:

Devices

Hub Mini Matter Enabled
Android Phone

and

A Google Nest Hub

Software

SwitchBot App: version 7.7.1 or newer
SwitchBot Hub Mini Matter Enabled Firmware: version or newer
Android OS 12 or newer
Google Nest 47.9.4 or newer
Google Home 2.65.1.6 or newer

When using our app, tap the Matter Configuration via your SwitchBot Hub Mini Matter Enabled to update Hub Mini Matter Enabled firmware version automatically. Make sure all devices are on a 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi network.

Getting started using Matter.

When you're ready to get started, select the SwitchBot Hub Mini Matter Enabled icon on our app's homepage and enter the your Hub Mini device page. Click the Settings icon in the upper right-hand corner to enter and scroll down to the Matter settings option and click to enter. We can then choose to download our device QR code image or copy its number.

Resetting your SwitchBot Hub Mini Matter Enabled.

Now, before adding Hub Mini Matter Enabled to your Apple Home app, you will need to reset Hub Mini. Press and hold the button on SwitchBot Hub Mini Matter Enabled for 15 seconds. Then select Add Device in the Apple Home app.

Please Note: Backlight will also be reset.

Locate Matter Settings in Google Home

Select Set up device via the Google Home Settings page, click New device, Next, and Continue.

Adding Hub Mini Matter Enabled to Google Home.

We recommend copying the number of your device from our app. After copying, click Set up without QR code. A paste button will appear after long pressing, paste the copied number, press continue, and enter the adding process. After entering the adding process, wait a moment and Hub Mini Matter Enabled will be added as a gateway to the Home app.

Syncing SwitchBot Devices to Google Home.

Open the Matter Configuration settings page of your SwitchBot Hub Mini Matter Enabled via our app. You can now associate SwitchBot Curtain and Blind Tilt with SwitchBot Hub Mini Matter Enabled and add them as sub-devices. After adding your device, switch to the Home app interface, and synchronization will be performed automatically. Sometimes, due to the network environment conditions, synchronization may take some time.
