Hub plus (old version possibly?) unable to turn on cloud service

I have the hub that looks like a cloud, I'm not sure if there were old or new versions of it but I remember getting it as a set in the original kickstarter. The hub is connected to the internet but whenever I try to enter advanced settings or firmware version it errors. In the hub settings there is no cloud settings section and I'm trying to make my switchbots work with Alexa. Please help.

Please noticed that there would not be a Cloud Service option for the Hub Plus. You can consider the Hub Plus as a bridge that connects the other SwitchBot Bluetooth device to the internet so that they could work with a third-party platform like Alexa.
If the connection keeps sending an error message, please kindly go to the SwitchBot app and submit a feedback request. Our technical team will assist you furthermore.
