How do I install the beta firmware?
Hello Shiv,
If you want to install the beta firmware for the SwitchBot Bot, you must receive the upgrade package. Please contact support@wondertechlabs.com to get the beta firmware upgrade.
Wish you like it.

Will the Beta upgrade allow us to programme one Switchbot automatically to turn on an appliance and then turn it off later? In other words, will it allow mixed sequential commands? This is what is really needed to turn it into a substitute timer.
Or does the user have to press the app manually to scroll between 'on' and 'off' mode?
Hello Gordon,
This beta firmware for the Bot doesn't have the ability to turn on an appliance and then turn it off later. The main function of the beta version is to do the pressing repeatedly.
In that case, we need to activate the ON and OFF manually.
Hi. I'm using Switchbot for my school ring bell which has 15 periods starting from 7:30am, 8:00am, 8:45am & so on until 3:15pm. Currently I only managed to set schedule 5 timers (maximum).
Honestly I'm confused with 'customize mode'. IMHO, it will less complicated if you guys add more timers, maybe 20 to 30 timers, it's easier for me :D
Thank you.
Hello SRICU, thank you for your suggestion. Currently, there are only 5 timers for one Bot due to the limitation of the Bot itself.
As for the customize mode, we can set the Bot to do the press in a regular interval. Say we can set the Bot to do the press every 30 minutes or every 15 minutes, endless or do the press up to 10 times.
If you need further assistance, please feel free to contact support@wondertechlabs.com and the support team will help you in details.
