- SwitchBot App Version: 7.9 or newer
1. Make sure your SwitchBot App version is up to date.
2. Make sure SwitchBot Lock Pro has been added to your App.
3. First, go to the SwitchBot App and enable the "Pause Auto-Lock" feature by following these steps.
- Launch the SwitchBot App and login.
- Tap the relevant SwitchBot Lock Pro.
- Tap the gear in the upper right corner.
- Tap "Auto Lock".
- Enable the "Auto Lock".
- Enable "Pause Auto-Lock".
4. Press and hold the SwitchBot Lock Pro's Quick Key (dial knob) for two seconds. The SwitchBot Lock Pro's indicator will flash blue once, and you will hear a beep. The Auto-Lock function will be temporarily paused.
5. After enabling the "Pause Auto-Lock" function, even if an unlocking action occurs on the SwitchBot Lock Pro, it will not perform Auto-Lock. To restore the Auto-Lock function, manually lock and unlock it again (either manually or via the App).
6. Follow step 3 to disable "Pause Auto-Lock" in the SwitchBot App. If you plan to use the "Pause Auto-Lock" function again in the future, repeat steps 3 to 5.
7. If needed, you can utilize the "Pause Auto-Lock" function when taking out the trash or during other daily activities.
