How to Set Up Open/Close at Sunrise/Sunset for SwitchBot Blind Tilt?

  • Applicable Products: SwitchBot Blind Tilt
  • SwitchBot App Version: V6.22 or newer
  • Firmware Version: V2.0 or newer
  1. Open the SwitchBot App.
  2. Tap "Automation" at the bottom of the App.
  3. Tap "+" in the upper right corner of the "Automation" page.
  4. Name the automation.
  5. Choose "Add condition" under "When".
  6. Select "Schedule".
  7. Select "Sunrise" or "Sunset".
  8. Tap "At Sunrise" or "At Sunset" if you want to set up a specific period before or after them. For example, you can set it up 30 minutes after sunrise.
  9. You can also set up a specific location via the "Location" option.
  10. Tap "Save" and go back to the automation settings page.
  11. Choose "Add Action" under "Then".
  12. Set up the action you want, then tap "Save".

Please also note that you can schedule automation to trigger before or after sunrise/sunset. For example, 2 hours before sunrise or 30 minutes after sunset.
