Link the SwitchBot Official Website Account to the Switchbot App

Before system maintenance

The official website is a different system from the SwitchBot app, and you have to register with each account.

After system maintenance

Due to system maintenance, you can now link your official website account to your SwitchBot app account. We will guide you on how to link from the app.

1. If you have an official website account and have previously linked your SwitchBot app account, the app will work as before. In the store section, you are already registered, and when you tap the login symbol in the top right corner, your account details will be displayed.

2. If you have an official website account but have not linked it to your SwitchBot app account, in the store section, tap the login symbol in the top right corner and you will be prompted to link. Once you press 'Link', select your country/region of residence → enter your existing official website account → enter the verification code → link is complete.

3. If you do not have an official website account, in the store section, tap the login symbol in the top right corner and you will be given guidance on whether to link.

3-1> If you press "Not now", you will be browsing as a visitor.

3-2> After pressing "Link," select your country/region of residence → create an official website account →Automatically create an official website account with the SwitchBot app account → Creation is completed. After completion, your official website and SwitchBot app accounts will have the same email address.

Please note:

Once you have linked your country/region to the official website account of your country/region, you will not be able to switch to other countries/regions in the app. Please check the website if necessary. Official website: https://www.switch-bot.com/
